Sample Answer 7.5

My insatiable curiosity compelled me to travel as much as possible, but alas, I neither have an infinite bank account nor an infinite amount of free time to see it all. To put my hopes into perspective, I want to go to at least five or six different nations over the next several years, with Switzerland at the top of that list.

It’s a little nation in central Europe that’s covered with mountains. This nation, between France and Italy, is roughly the size of New Jersey and has no coastline. Austria, Germany, and Liechtenstein are their other neighboring countries. Between the southern high Alps and the northern Jura mountains lies a broad, flat plateau where most people reside. Southern mountains have a low population density. I haven’t been there since it’s so far away from where I live. Yet, I want to make it there in the not-too-distant future. Unfortunately, I will be too busy with work to go this year, but hopefully, next year or the year after that, I will be able to make it.

My desire to visit Switzerland stems from a wide variety of sources. To begin, the country seems to have stunningly beautiful terrain. The natural scenery in this location is stunning, and I can’t wait to visit and explore the cliffs and shores. I think it’s fantastic that people like me are interested in visiting these places to learn about and appreciate nature. In addition, Switzerland has a rich and varied history that I’d want to explore more.

It would seem that tourists would want to visit Switzerland for these reasons and because it is a modern country with a well-established tourism sector.
