  • how you know him or her
  • what you usually talk about
and explain why you enjoy talking with this person.

📌 Sample Answer (Band 8+)

One person I really enjoy talking with is my older cousin, Linh. She’s a few years older than me and we’ve been close since childhood. Even though we don’t live in the same city anymore, we still talk regularly, especially through video calls or texting.

I first got close to her during high school when I was struggling with studies and needed someone to confide in. She had already gone through similar experiences and was very understanding and supportive. Over the years, we’ve built a strong bond, and I can talk to her about anything — whether it’s academic pressure, personal problems, or even random topics like movies and travel plans.

What I really appreciate about her is that she listens without judgment. She gives practical advice when I need it, and sometimes just lets me vent. Her sense of humor also makes every conversation enjoyable, no matter how stressful the day has been. I always feel more relaxed and confident after talking to her.

Overall, I enjoy talking with Linh because she’s both a great listener and a wise friend. Having someone like her to talk to makes life’s challenges a lot easier to handle.
