Sample Answer
The table shows information on what people in the UK thought the government should allocate more money towards. The data is given in terms of age and gender.
Overall, while the majority of men think the government should spend more money on education, women appear to prioritise healthcare more so. Furthermore, while the younger generations tend to be more focused on improving education, the older generations tend to be focused on health.
Over half of British males believe the government should increase spending on education, while around one-third believe the government should place more focus on health. Meanwhile, just under half of British females think the government should increase spending on health, with only 40% interested in more spending on education.
In terms of age, around half of UK citizens aged 35-44, 45-54, and 55-64 believe the government should increase spending on health. Meanwhile, over 70% of adults aged 65+ also prioritised more spending on health over education. Younger people, on the other hand, tended to be more interested in increasing spending on education, with 40% of 18-24 year-olds, and 52% of 25-34 year-olds.
