II. Samples

1. Do you prefer spending holidays with friends or with family? Why?

I enjoy spending holidays with both friends and family, but if I had to choose, I would prefer spending them with family. This is because holidays are often a rare opportunity to reconnect and strengthen family bonds, especially as everyone has their own busy schedules. Additionally, family holidays provide a sense of comfort and familiarity that is very special to me.

2. What kind of holiday accommodation do you like to stay in? Why?

I prefer staying in boutique hotels when I travel. These accommodations usually offer a unique and personalized experience, unlike the standardized services of large hotel chains. Boutique hotels often have distinctive decor and a cozy atmosphere that make the stay memorable. Moreover, they are typically located in interesting parts of the city, providing easy access to local attractions and culture.

3. What plan do you have for your next holiday?

For my next holiday, I plan to visit Japan. I’ve always been fascinated by Japanese culture, and I’m particularly excited to experience the cherry blossom season. My itinerary includes visiting Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka, where I plan to explore historic temples, try authentic Japanese cuisine, and immerse myself in the vibrant city life. I’m also looking forward to learning more about Japanese traditions and customs.

4. Is your city or region a good place for other people to visit on holiday? Why? Why not?

Yes, my city is an excellent place for people to visit on holiday. We have a rich cultural heritage, with numerous historical landmarks and museums that offer a glimpse into our past. The city is also known for its vibrant arts scene, with many galleries, theaters, and live music venues. Additionally, the local cuisine is diverse and delicious, providing a great culinary experience for visitors. However, during peak tourist seasons, it can get quite crowded, which might be a downside for those who prefer quieter destinations.
