The bar chart compares the sales of various food products at the Brisk Café in the summer and winter. Overall, the sales of most products vary significantly according to the season, with hot coffee and soup sales being greater in the cold weather, but those of ice-cream and iced coffee being higher in the summer. It is also clear that the demand for salad doesn’t correlate with changes in season.
As regards daily winter sales, hot coffee is sold the most, with the sales averaging 75 servings per day. Having 25 servings fewer than the top-selling food item, soup sales come a close second with 50. Ice-cream and salad sales, ranking third, are equal amounting to about 25 servings, but the demand for iced coffee is almost non-existent, at about 2-3 servings.
In terms of summer sales per day, unlike in winter, iced coffee tops the chart with 40 servings, followed closely by ice-cream sales with approximately 5 servings fewer. Despite the hot weather, hot coffee is still popular among some customers and the sales of this product rank third with 30 pieces. The figures for soup and salad portions sold, on average, however, are the lowest, at 25 servings each.
