Sample Answer

Well, the first thing comes to my mind as soon as I have seen the topic is “Dragon Forge” in Iron village, which is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Vietnam

Back in the day, I was actually a spoiled kid, I mean I always tried to pester my parents for anything I wanted. That being said, my mother didn’t want to indulge me anymore so she decided to take me to the aforementioned forge in which I had the chance to take part in a blacksmith training course. My mom wanted me to be aware of the hard work so that I could be more obedient.

It took us around 15 minutes to get there. I have to admit that I felt bored to death right after walking into the forge since there was no one there. Things only got better after the head blacksmith turned up and introduced himself to us, then he guided us through remarkable areas of the forge. I was totally blown away by the working ambience of the forge, where there were blacksmiths doing their job. I mean the scene really gave me a sense of medieval films like The Lord of the Rings . The head blacksmith then gave me a small hammer and showed me how to adjust the blaze of a sword.

Although I wasn’t able to fully discover the Dragon Forge, the visit was definitely the milestone that I started to realize there were things I have to learn. Well, Dragon Forge is not the most beautiful place to me, somehow I still often reminisce about it since it seems to be the most special place I’ve been to due to the unforgettable moments it brought about.

Speaking Part 3

1. Is there anything special about the villages in Vietnam?

Well, villages in Vietnam are normally considered the places which give a sense of peace or tranquility, nothing more special than that. However, I would say that villages in Vietnam preserve irreplaceable values of Vietnamese people, from historical events to the unique traditions which represent heroic periods in the past.

2. Why do people want to go to the countryside?

I think there are a wide range of reasons which make people want to travel to rural areas. However, the most common one in my opinion is that people working in big cities tend to be under a lot of pressure so they just want to get away from the hustle and bustle and immerse themselves in a more peaceful ambience

3. What do people usually do when going to a village?

Well, this is such a tough question for me because I haven’t traveled to any village apart from the only occasion in Iron village which I have mentioned. That being said, I guess that the activities people can experience would depend on the tradition of that village. If we’re talking about a vocational village, visitors can definitely try learning how to make a handicraft while in fishing villages people can try doing fisherman works

4. Do you think people will live in the village in the future?

To be totally upfront, this would depend on the status of villages in the future since people usually need to consider lots of key factors before settling down in a place such as amenities, traffic status, or job opportunities. If villages are more developed in the future, people will probably choose to live there due to the atmosphere and the health benefits offered. Of course, big cities still hold the advantages but I mean developing villages will be worth considering.
